I finished up working on a job some time ago that was probably one of the most difficult jobs I have done in a long time. It was physically draining and challenging in regards to some of the set-ups to get certain areas painted. After that job I went to a very easy kitchen cabinet repaint. The owners were gone and I just had to be finished and cleaned up before they returned. Such is our life here. We have some very difficult days, weeks, months or years and we have some of those same times that are very easy. Hills and
valleys is what we call them. There are different seasons in our lives. The key factor is that God has orchestrated all of them and we are to represent Him rightly through the difficult or easy times.Ecclesiastes 3:4-8 "A time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones and a time to gather stones; a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to gain and a time to lose; a time to keep and a time to throw away; a time to tear and a time to sew; a time to keep silence and a time to speak; a time to love and a time to hate; a time of war and a time of peace."
So what season are you in? What is the time that you find yourself in? A difficult one or an easy one? From the word of God there are a few main points to consider. Romans 8:28 And we know that all things (difficult or easy) work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 in everything (difficult or easy) give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Matthew 28:20b and lo, I am with you always (difficult or easy times) even to the end of the age.
Whether your upcoming week is difficult or easy God is working, (Rom 8:28) we are thanking, (1Thess 5:18) and He is present. (Matt 28:20b)
